I got a tach the other day for tuning my car.
I had rebuilt the car and set everything
using a vac gauge it ran fine afterwards. I checked the timing
it was ok, and the engine sounded fine could
not hear any problems. But low and behold the tach
showed the ear does not know, the vac gauge does not show,
or my timing light indicate that I was 150 rpm's to high at idle.
No big deal, but I lowered it down to 675 from 825 rpms.
Cant tell a difference with my ear and sounds allmost the same.
But it doesnt diesel at all any more, and saves on gas, and it
looks so cool!
