fast idle problem, choke
« on: September 14, 2010, 02:23:09 PM »
Hi

my electric choke has been fine but the temps are cooler here now that it is fall. on the weekend the high idle stayed on and would not kick off. it was running at 1500rpm then even up to 2000rpm for a bit. the car had been running lots long enough for the fast idle to come off.

what can i do?

loosten the 3 screws on the electric choke and turn the choke clockwise about 1/8th of an inch and retighten
