Cliff Ruggles:
The cup plugs spin out pretty easily.  Never ran into a set yet that gave much trouble....Cliff

I have a few parts in the kit that I am not sure where they go.  I have a pretty good grasp on the upgraded needle and seat.  (Brass piece with gasket, hold down ring and two screws.)  But what is the smaller brass piece with the O ring on it?  I searched the forums and you say it is the O ring fuel inlet plug.  Where does it go?

Also, what is the small black rubber cap with plug?  small cork gasket?   Will try to post pics too.  thanks

Cliff Ruggles:
Brass peice with "O" ring is to plug the bypass just to the left of the needle/seat assembly.

Rubber cap is for the front vent.

Cork gasket for the HIC in the rear of the main casting under the cover.

Cliff can you clarify something for me on the gaskets you sent for carb to intake and body to throttle plate.  I had installed the thin black gasket between the carb and intake but it was setup for manifold exhaust heat with an opening in front of primaries.  This was creating a vacuum leak.  Now I am questioning the purple gasket that I installed between the throttle plate and body.  it is 1/4" thick...

Is the purple gasket the right one for throttle plate to body?  I bought another carb to manifold gasket...

Cliff Ruggles:
If used on an original intake, the gasket with the cut out goes down first, then a stainless steel shim gasket, then the carburetor......Cliff
